Pages on this site do not require an account. The live video chat with our AI characters and any quiz we run are for adults and keep only what you type in them. No quiz result requires your contact information. We ask for your name and email once, at the end, and only if you ask us to follow up.
Quizzes and archetype results
A quiz on this site is an assessment and a mirror, not a measurement. It produces an archetype from the answers you choose. It does not score you, profile you, or store your answers after you leave the page.
Live sessions
The live chair is for adults. Live video sessions run on our video provider's platform (Runway), last about two minutes, and are capped at five minutes. Live sessions are recorded and transcribed so a human can follow up on your request. If you would rather not be recorded, use the text version. It does everything the live chair does except make eye contact.
Mission days
Mission days work differently than this website, and more strictly. Before any mission is recorded, your school or museum receives a consent packet that covers what is captured, how long it is kept, when it is deleted, and who controls the data.
On mission day, recording and analysis run on MSA equipment inside your building. No student audio, video, or transcript data leaves your site. There is no cloud processing of student data. Voice identification features stay off for students. Reports describe crews and roles. They never grade an individual child.
FERPA
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act puts your district in control of student education records, and our design keeps it that way. Mission data is captured and processed on our equipment inside your building. Your district decides who receives reports, and nothing about a student is disclosed to any third party. When a district engages us we act under the district's direction and control, our access is limited to the engagement, and student data is never reused for any other purpose. That is the arrangement FERPA's school official exception describes, and the consent packet documents it in writing, including retention and deletion, so your records office has what it needs on file.
COPPA
The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act governs online services that collect personal information from children under 13. This website is written for the adults who book missions, and we do not knowingly collect anything from children through it. Students never create accounts, never log in, and never submit information online to us. Mission day capture is not an online service. It runs locally on our equipment under your school's consent process, and student data does not touch the internet at any point.
State student privacy laws
State laws layer on top of FERPA, and they differ by state. We work inside your state's requirements and your district's local policy, and the consent packet spells out the specifics for your engagement before any mission is recorded.
